20 Things You Didn't Know About Die Hard 2

2. Renny Harlin Edited The Film At The Same Time As "The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane"

By most accounts Die Hard 2 was a seat-of-your-pants production, with shooting starting just seven months before the film hit cinemas - a frankly terrifyingly small time window for most big-budget action sequels.

And because that wasn't pressure enough, Harlin also edited the film at the same time as The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, which he finished shooting just two months before Die Hard 2 began filming.

The films ultimately ended up releasing just two weeks apart, though unlike Die Hard 2, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane was a critical and commercial failure, even scoring Harlin a Worst Director Razzie nomination - his first of six Razzie nods to date.
