16. Bruce Willis Was Paid $7.5 Million For His Role
Bruce Willis' $5 million salary for the original film sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood at the time, with many seeing it as indicative of movie star salaries spiralling wildly out of control.
But due to the film's success, Willis was able to command a superior payday for the sequel, for which he fetched a handsome $7.5 million - a sizable chunk of the film's estimated $62-70 million budget.
That's nothing in the grand scheme of things, though: for Die Hard with a Vengeance just five years later, he was paid $15 million, and was alleged to have made as much as $25 million for Live Free or Die Hard.
