20 Things You Didn't Know About Django Unchained

5. Jonah Hill Was Originally Going To Have A Much Bigger Role

Jonah Hill's appearance in Django Unchained is short but memorable. His character doesn't have a name, we only know him as Bag Head #2, a man didn't care much for the way the bag on his head was cut. Hill's character is part of a mob of men recruited by Big Daddy to hunt down Django and Schultz. Like the Ku Klux Klan, they are racists who carry torches. In the film, they are known as The Regulators, spiritual forebearers of the KKK.

Hill was attached with a much bigger role at one stage. The character that he was originally cast to play had a name and that name was Scotty Harmony. The son of Southern slave buyers, his parents would purchase Broomhilda so that she could become his lover. This never transpired with stories suggesting scheduling conflicts spoiled it.
