Goodfellas is a violent movie, but it has a shockingly low body count of 10, and only five are murders we actually see take place.

For the deaths that we do see happen, that list includes Spider (Michael Imperioli), Billy Batts (Frank Vincent), Stacks Edwards (Samuel L. Jackson), Morrie (Chuck Low), and Tommy (Joe Pesci).

The rest of the list includes the five bodies that we see following the Lufthansa heist, in the aforementioned "Layla sequence."

Make no mistake, Goodfellas is a very violent movie, and there are constant threats of violence throughout, but the actual body count is surprisingly tame. The Departed actually has more than twice this film's body count (22).
