8. Christopher Nolan Penned An Online-Exclusive Prequel Comic

As Mann, Matt Damon's role in the movie is quite short. But for those hungry for more of this character's story, you're in luck!

Around the time the movie came out, Wired teamed Nolan up with comic-book artist Sean Gordon Murphy to create a prequel comic called Absolute Zero, which reveals what happened to Mann before we meet him in the film.

It's not essential reading, but it does delve further into Mann's troubled state of mind, providing a deeper context for why he ultimately acts the way he does.
