During his summation, Garrison has his team sit in four chairs to re-enact the supposed path of a single bullet. This was later spoofed on an episode of Seinfeld, in both cases featuring actor Wayne Knight.
But in 2003, on the 40th anniversary of the assassination, Peter Jennings hosted a special that proved a single bullet could do the damage it did. The actual car that Kennedy was riding in had been re-fitted to suit its passenger, with the back seat three inches higher than the front. Once the adjustment is made, Oswald's line of fire syncs up.
