It's fair to say that despite being just 18 years old when TMNT was being filmed, Corey Feldman was one of the project's most experienced and well-known actors, having two Friday the 13th Movies, Gremlins, The Goonies, Stand by Me, and The Lost Boys all under his belt prior.

And while Feldman's role in TMNT was "only" a voiceover gig for Donatello, he nevertheless claims the movie's producers gave him a low-ball offer.

Feldman agreed to take just $1,500 for the part as the producers reportedly let him to believe it was a low-budget indie film that might turn a profit on VHS if it was well received.

Of course, it ended up printing money at the box office, and tellingly, Feldman didn't return for the first sequel, though did end up coming back to play Donatello again in the third film.
