While it's extremely common for movie props to simply collect dust in a studio warehouse, get given away, or even end up destroyed, in the case of those temperamental animatronic Turtles heads? They got recycled.

That's right, the Turtles heads reportedly ended up being used on the Irish children's TV series The Morbegs, which ran from 1996 to 1998, providing the noggins for the show's main characters Molly and Rossa.

Looking at the design of the faces, it's incredibly easy to recognise the similarity to the Turtles, albeit disguised by a decent mound of fur.
