When it comes to the truly great twists of modern cinema, The Sixth Sense is right up there as one of the most shocking.

Sure, in hindsight it’s easy to see coming, but back during the film’s initial release and upon that first watch, you can’t convince anybody that you knew that *shock horror* Bruce Willis’ Malcolm had really been dead all along.

Before that reveal plays out towards the film’s conclusion, producer Frank Marshall was worried that the movie had already spoiled that huge twist. The moment of concern for Marshall was when the camera does a closeup on Willis as Cole delivers his chilling “I see dead people” line.
