20 Things You Didn't Know About Unbreakable

7. Bruce Willis Convinced Samuel L. Jackson To Do The Film

Unbreakable Movie
Buena Vista Pictures

Although M. Night Shyamalan wrote the film with Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis in mind for the title roles, it was actually Willis himself who convinced costar Jackson to do the film while the pair were in a Casino.

The two actors were already familiar after working together on films such as Die Hard With A Vengeance and Pulp Fiction years earlier. Willis, who had just completed work on The Sixth Sense, told Jackson about Unbreakable when the pair ran into each other in a casino and convinced the actor to do the film.
