19. Desperado Was Almost Raúl Juliá's Final Film

Taking heavy influence from John Woo, Robert Rodriguez delivered world class kick assery with 1995's Desperado. This time it comes in the form of Antonio Banderas as a wandering guitar player who carries an insane amount of guns in his guitar case. Banderas is on the hunt for the killer of his lover and maimer of his fret hand and on the way, he kills quite a lot of bad guys. However, the bad-ass meter could have gone through the roof.
