With all the promise that this is going to be a deeper and darker film than the first, Avengers: Disassembled is one of the best comic stories told, and should definitely be on the checklist for any new Avenger fan. The subsequent follow up House Of M (although heavy on mutants) is an equally brilliant sequel and both stories feature new characters Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and The Vision, as well as exploring the relationships between all the Avengers and the deep seeded tension were bound to see in later films.
