20 Things You Somehow Missed In Gladiator

7. A Minor Character Was Miraculously Healed During The Course Of The Movie

During the course of the story, Roman Senator Gracchus, who supports Maximus' plan to overthrow the increasingly unbalanced Commodus, mentions that his servants were deaf and mute.

Towards the end of the film, when Commodus has ordered his Praetorian Guard to arrest Graccchus, one of his servants is able to warn him as he tells the Senator 'Praetorians, master!'

Either the movie had a much longer timeline than we thought and the servant was resolved of his afflictions, the Senator hired a new staff member, or there were excellent (and fast) healers in Rome.

Or, someone just forgot character continuity.
