8. Gas Tanks Weren't The Only Modern Thing The Chariots Carried

For as good as the chariot battle looked on film, it certainly had its share of issues!

In the scene just before a female gladiator in golden armour is taken out of the fight in a most unpleasant manner, a shot from behind the chariot clearly shows a technician dressed in dark clothing kneeling on the floor of the chariot. The soles of very modern workboots can clearly be seen.

It makes sense that someone had to operate the hidden gas tanks...
