10. Bridget Von Hammersmark Realises Hicox's Big Mistake
Lt. Hicox's German guise is ultimately foiled in fatal fashion when Nazi officer Dieter Hellstrom (August Diehl) notices that Hicox asks for three drink glasses and makes the gesture with the "wrong" fingers for a German.
Hicox throws up the index, middle, and ring fingers, but a German would've used the index and middle fingers and thumb.
What you probably didn't realise at the moment that Hicox put his fingers up, however, is that Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) actually notices Hicox's error, her eyes widening with horrified realisation for a brief second.
