19. Tarantino's Voice Cameo
Tarantino often makes on-screen cameo appearances in his movies, though for Jackie Brown he opted to make a considerably sneakier vocal cameo that you might've quite easily missed if you weren't paying full attention.
When Jackie (Pam Grier) gets an answering machine message at home, the voice of the machine is Tarantino himself, who says, "You have one message sent at 8:06pm."
The fidelity of the sound recording is muffled just enough that it's not immediately obviously Tarantino's voice, and to make it even funnier, he also adopts a robotic vocal tenor as you'd expect to hear on an automated answering machine.
