6. Those Serbian Gangsters Are All Talk
Speaking of the Serbian gangsters providing an ever-present and formidable threat to the likes of Craig's XXXX and the aforementioned Duke, it turns out that the leader of this bunch of p*ssed off war criminals has a rather specific way of delivering what appears to be the Serbian language.
To the average purely English speaking audience member, Marcel Iureș' unleashing of many a line in his character's seemingly native Serbian feels legit enough, it must be said. But in reality, with the actor himself being from Romania, he actually reverted to his native Romanian language for the majority of his exchanges with his fellow on-screen Serbian gangsters.
It takes very little away from the characters and the threat they pose throughout, admittedly, but it likely brassed off and confused a fair number of both Serbian and Romanian watchers upon weighing up what was actually being said.
