And finally, the film's end credits contain a memorial dedication to "Lance Allen Moore II."

If you're wondering who that is, Moore was a Mad Max enthusiast who sadly passed away at the age of 27 on March 10, 2015 - just a few short months before the film's release - in a motorcycle accident near Silverton, New South Wales, where Mad Max 2 was actually filmed.

Moore, an American national, was reportedly in Australia to be part of the Mad Max Silverton Collective, where participants gather every two years to recreate scenes from the Mad Max movies, though the accident did not occur during this reenactment.

In a massive show of respect, Moore was immortalised in the credits for his favourite film franchise.
