20 Things You Somehow Missed In Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
16. A Django Unchained Set Was Used For The Movie
While on the subject of the sets and locations found in this Hollywood story, did you catch the somewhat familiar setting visible during the opening scene of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?
As Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth sit down for an interview with Alan Kincade on the set of NBC's fictional Western series Bounty Law, the pair are shown to be sitting in the middle of the show's ranch set.
And that very same Bounty Law location - Melody Ranch - was actually used back when Tarantino was shooting Django Unchained all those years ago (thanks, Reddit), with that set also being reused for some of the Lancer TV show scenes found in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, too (via LAMag).
Put simply, Melody Ranch - the same place that has been used as a set for everything from The Lone Ranger to Westworld over the years - has become a major part of this Tarantinoverse.
