Early on in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino takes viewers to a party at the iconic Playboy Mansion, with this get-together containing a few famous Hollywood faces, including Sharon Tate, Michelle Phillips and Steve McQueen, letting their hair down a little.

You may be wondering how they were able to recreate such a realistic-looking version of the well-known mansion. But many didn't realise that this was actually very much the real deal on-screen, as noted in a conversation with EW.

After speaking with the person who now owned the property that once belonged to Hugh Hefner, Tarantino and the gang were eventually able to add in as many details as they could from that specific period before shooting the party sequence (via Polygon).

However, it is worth adding that Playboy magazine founder Hefner only actually lived there from 1971 onwards, so a Playboy party at the location in '69 wouldn't have been possible.
