20 Things You Somehow Missed In Rocky

4. Shouldn't It Be Colder?

On the first day of his training, we see an out of shape Balboa stumble out of bed. He staggers to the kitchen and cracks several raw eggs into a glass. Rocky gulps the eggs down because it was the 70s, and not a single person was worried about Salmonella. What a time to be alive!

After his alarm chimes, we hear the weather report over the radio. The DJ claims it's 28 degrees Fahrenheit in Philadelphia, which, technically speaking, is cold as balls. Actually, it's two degrees below freezing. Balboa dons his yolk stained sweatshirt to weather the cold. Seriously, watch the movie, dude spills egg all down his shirt.

What's the problem, you ask? Well, while Rocky is jogging, we can't see his breath! Have these filmmakers never heard of condensation? In freezing weather, the warm moisture of your breath condenses, forming tiny droplets visible as a fleeting mist!

We can take a lot of continuity errors, but audiences will not stand for a mistake that defies the laws of physics. Best picture, my ass.
