20 Things You Somehow Missed In Scream

10. The Ghostface Costume Is Called "Father Death"

As much as the series' killer is universally referred to as "Ghostface," the actual in-universe name for its creepy, spectral outfit is "Father Death."

You'll need a good eye to notice this, though, as it's only briefly visible when Dewey (David Arquette) brings one of the unopened costumes to the police station.

But what's more interesting is that this was allegedly intended to serve as a red herring, to further hint at the possibility of Ghostface being none other than Sidney's father Neil Prescott (Lawrence Hecht), a theory which the movie lays out more overtly later on.
