20 Things You Somehow Missed In Solo: A Star Wars Story
12. Warwick Davis As Weazel
There are few actors who can claim to have appeared in more Star Wars movies than Warwick Davis. The aforementioned Anthony Daniels has been a part of all 11 to date, whereas Davis has only 7 to his name, though he does have far more characters under his belt.
With playing the likes of Ewoks, aliens, and one animated character in Star Wars Rebels, Davis' face has rarely been shown, allowing him to bring so many different characters to life. Solo is one of the rare times however, that his recognisable features aren’t obscured.
There was no name given to his character while on screen, though he is confirmed to have played Weazel as part of Enfys' crew. It is reasonable to believe then, that this must be connected to the only other time his face has been shown, coming all the way back in The Phantom Menace.
It's a blink and you'll miss it moment, but Davis can be seen watching Anakin's pod race on Tatooine next to Watto. Does this mean that this too was Weazel? If so, what happened to take him from a gambler on the Skywalkers' homeworld to fighting for Coaxium many years later? The way Star Wars is churning out content now and moving into the future, there will probably be a Weazel Disney+ series to tell the story.
