6. Only Ten Men Wore Wookiee Suits
Bringing it back to the more practical side of life for a brief moment, the return of one of the most cherished fur-balls the Original Trilogy had to offer, only this time alongside the rest of his fiery race, brought with it some of the most inspired costume design of its time.
All in all, though, Chewbacca's re-emergence beside a fleet of other passionate and courageous Wookiees on Kashyyyk only ever saw a grand total of ten dudes boasting the hairiest torso in the galaxy throughout shooting.
So, how was George Lucas able to successfully build one of the most ferocious armies ever to charge into battle within the Star Wars universe? You guessed it.
After he'd thrown this lucky ten souls into their Wookiee get-up, Lucas and his VFX team were able to duplicate the growling gents in post-production after repositioning the actors on multiple occasions during a number of takes and adding them back into the shot at a later date to make it look like there were more Wookiees present.
