Peace came at quite the price during the events of Return of the Jedi, with a grand total of 2,218,448 individuals all ultimately dying during the Rebel Alliance's successful overthrowing of the Empire.

The most notable of those deaths undoubtedly came in the form of Darth Vader, Yoda, Jabba the Hutt, and The Emperor (for a bit, at least). Yet, what is often ignored is precisely who was responsible for the vast majority of that astronomical number of fatalities during Episode VI.

In blowing up the Death Star II from the inside, General Lando Calrissian held the chilling record of being the deadliest individual Return of the Jedi had to offer, murdering a grand total of 1,844,137 people when blasting the Empire's space station, according to ListOfDeathsWiki.

At least it wasn't all for nothing and the Empire were finally wiped from the galaxy for good after being left with all that blood on his hands/gloves, though... oh, wait.
