20 Things You Somehow Missed In Terminator 2: Judgment Day

9. Edward Furlong's High-Pitched Voice During ONE Scene

In addition to Edward Furlong physically aging throughout production due to his growth spurt, his voice also broke during the shoot. And so, when the film was edited into sequence, Furlong's vocal pitch fluctuated wildly between scenes.

As a result, Cameron had Furlong re-dub the majority of his dialogue in post, though actually left one scene untouched.

The scene in the desert where John talks about his mother crying and the T-800 asks why humans cry - one of the first major sequences shot for the movie, in fact - was left as it was because Cameron felt that Furlong's more childlike vocal tenor suited the scene better.

It's subtle enough to be unnoticed by most viewers, though it's possible your brain unconsciously picked up on it regardless, as was presumably Cameron's intent.
