7. Sarah Wears Kyle's Trenchcoat When Breaking Into Cyberdyne
Here's a detail which should be obvious, and yet, there's a good chance you've seen T2 dozens of times and still never picked up on it.
When Sarah and co. force their way into the Cyberdyne building, she's wearing a large grey trenchcoat, which is very clearly the same coat worn by Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) in the original movie.
It's a subtle and oddly sweet detail which seems to confirm that Sarah continues to miss Kyle many years after his death, holding onto the coat he wore on the night they met.
While it's incredibly unlikely that this is the exact same prop coat from the 1984 movie, the identical design makes the intent crystal clear.
