20 Things You Somehow Missed In Terminator 2: Judgment Day

5. The T-800's Grenade Etiquette

A major part of the T-800's attire in the final act of the movie is his gigantic grenade bandolier, but a subtle switcharoo occurs just before he takes on the S.W.A.T. team invading the Cyberdyne building.

Off-screen, the T-800 flips the grenade-stocked bandolier onto his back, ensuring that no matter how many bullets the S.W.A.T. guys fire at him - and they do fire a lot - none of them will detonate the grenades.

While a grenade explosion wouldn't necessarily "kill" the T-800, it would certainly annihilate any humans in the vicinity, namely the S.W.A.T. guys, so in the interest of maintaining 0.0 human casualties, he does the sensible thing.

That James Cameron would even think to have Arnie do this is a testament to the extreme thought he puts into, well, everything.
