And sticking with cameos dedicated to creatives, it was only a matter of time before the person steering this staggering ship decided to get in on the fun, too.

Instead of being chewed up by a super predator or sprinting around in the background as a humble street is ripped through by a dino, though, Steven Spielberg opted for a much more subtle appearance in his second Jurassic entry.

If you look closely at the TV screen playing host to the CNN news report on the return of Rexy and the rest of the dino brigade late on, you'll spot the reflection of none other than the Schindler's List director taking up a spot on the sofa next to Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcolm.

The next shot would show there was actually no Spielberg to be seen as Julianne Moore's Dr. Sarah Harding replaces the director alongside Goldblum. But for one brief moment, fans are definitely treated to a subtle glimpse of the iconic filmmaker kicking back with his well-known cast.
