20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

Natalie Portman

The Film:

Unfortunately, both of Natalie Portman's roles in blockbuster franchises have been ones she's evidently not happy with.

Portman was furious when her original choice of director, Patty Jenkins, was replaced with Alan Taylor (coincidentally the director of Terminator Genesys) but was forced to stay on due to contractual obligations.

Clearly unhappy about this, she gives a phoned-in performance as Thor's girlfriend and clearly doesn't want to be there. It was evidently excruciating to have to play such a weak, damsel-in-distress love interest instead of the challenging and interesting roles Portman normally does.

As if all of that wasn't bad enough, she's also stuck in the MCU's worst film. Lacking in charm and action, yet full of awful villains, bad jokes and mechanical storytelling, this is the one everyone probably skipped in their marathon re-watch before Avengers: Infinity War. Wisely, Portman has bailed on the franchise.
