20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

Actors:

Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Andy Serkis (Snoke)

The Film:

This was a disastrous attempt to launch a new YA adaptation franchise, but this one should've been awesome. It was based on excellent source material, written by the talented Anthony Horowitz (who also wrote the books) and had a fantastic cast which included Mickey Rourke, Bill Nighy, Damian Lewis and Stephen Fry among others.

Alas, it flopped. The curious lack of any good action, the overly serious tone and generally bored vibe throughout let the entire thing down and the plans for sequels were scrapped after this was a box office bomb.

Ewan McGregor is only in it for five minutes while Andy Serkis has a small part as a mute knife-throwing henchman so both leave with their dignity intact. They certainly beat Alex Pettyfer and Mickey Rourke's awful performances as the child spy and main villain respectively.
