20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

5. Mortdecai

Natalie Portman Thor 2
Lionsgate

Actors:

Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Paul Bettany (Dryden Vos)

This Johnny Depp comedy has two Star Wars actors, but only one of them humiliates himself. Paul Bettany is actually rather amusing and is the only part of the film that's actually funny.

Ewan McGregor, playing a police inspector, is less fortunate and just looks embarrassed to be there. It's definitely one of the low-points of his career, but then again this is a low-point for pretty much everyone. It's possibly the worst film Johnny Depp has made recently and, looking at all his duds, that's saying something.

Mortdecai was one of the very worst films of 2015; a film so strange and unfunny you're more likely to pity it than actively hate it. Interestingly enough, this isn't the only time Paul Bettany has propped up a Johnny Depp failure; he did the same thing in Transcendence.
