20 Underwhelming Movies From Star Wars Actors You Must Avoid

18. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

Natalie Portman Thor 2
20th Century Studios

Actors:

Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn) and Simon Pegg (Unkar Plutt).

The Film:

In this third film in the Chronicles of Narnia franchise, both do voice roles; Pegg takes over from Eddie Izzard as Reepicheep, a talking mouse, and Liam Neeson once again plays the talking Lion Aslan.

Both outdo their Star Wars roles with their solid vocal performances and this is a generally well-acted film (look out for a young Will Poulter who gives a fantastic child actor performance), but the film's impressive cast deserved so much better.

This weakly-scripted, slow-paced and rather dull threequel undoes all the good work done by its solid (though uneven) predecessors. The franchise stalled after this one, probably because this installment just wasn't very good at all. It remains to be seen if The Silver Chair (if it ever actually gets released) will get the franchise back on course.
