Why It's Going To Rock: Hilarious Premise What's funnier than a couple of incompetent cops? How about a couple of incompetent cops who aren't actually cops at all, but two buddies dressed up and pretending to be cops? Nothing, that's what. We all learned from Superbad that awful cops are the best then, and it was presumably Seth Rogen and Bill Hader's antics in that movie that semi-inspired Let's Be Cops, which stars Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. from TV's New Girl. So the idea here is that a couple of friends dress up as cops for a party, are mistaken as such, and decide to embark on a series of adventures under such a guise. If that doesn't sound like comedy gold, then we honestly don't know what is. Both Johnson and Wayans Jr. are insanely likeable, of course, and we already know they have great chemistry from watching them shooting the sh*t on New Girl. Plus, the trailer looks incredibly funny.
