Why It's Going To Suck: Unnecessary Sequel To A Rubbish Film There's barely anyone out there who probably sat down to Planes and came out of the cinema thinking: "Man, that was some quality stuff right there. What fun." The reason for that, of course, was because it was pretty generic and subpar on every level - a far cry from anything that Pixar or Disney have done before. The animation was nice in places, sure, but the movie felt rushed and lackluster - the very definition of "minor effort." No wonder it was originally supposed to be release straight to video, then, which is exactly what you might have expected of the upcoming Planes: Fire & Rescue, which - going by what we've seen so far - looks as if it might be set to repeat history. And by that, we mean that it's going to be terrible. The plot sees Dane Cook reprising his role as Dusty Crophopper, as he battles against a "massive wild fire." What else do you need to know?
