Why It's Going To Suck: 36% Rotten Tomatoes Score Zach Braff's long-awaited directorial follow-up to the melancholic comedy that was Garden State came to major attention when the Scrubs actor used Kickstarter as a platform to raise money to make the movie outside of the usual studio system. A lot of people were peeved by this, but the movie met its target of $2 million dollars anyway. Titled Wish I Wish Here, the plot features a struggling actor trying to find his purpose in life. Which is what you'd expect from a film by Zach Braff, of course. Also starring his real life best buddy Donald Faison, Josh God and Kate Hudson, this looked promising until€ well, lots of the reviews are already in, unfortunately - most of which see the project as something of a let-down. "Good enough to make you wish it had been better," writes Film.com's William Goss in a negative review, in what Variety's Scott Foundas calls "a failed Garden State redux."
