Why It's Going To Suck: Because Horrible Bosses Did Horrible Bosses is something of a curiosity of modern comedy filmmaking; despite the fact that it was overtly mean-spirited, rarely laugh out loud funny, and plainly boring for much of its runtime, a lot of people seem to have liked it (enough people for it the studio to go ahead and generate a sequel, anyway - or, you know, it made a lot of money). So coming soon: a bound to be worse follow-up featuring the same cast members. It's probably safe to say - before we've even seen it - that Horrible Bosses 2 runs the risk of reprising the same ineffectual beats that the likes of The Hangover: Part II did when they went ahead and made that unnecessary sequel. Granted, the premise of the movie - which features a kidnapping plotline - means that things probably won't end up feeling quite so similar, but the first trailer looks surprising tame and is feels a bit unoriginal.
