20 Upcoming Movies That Are Going To Suck

12. Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Why It's Going To Suck: Super Broad Disney Film

Maybe it's wrong to write off a Disney movie which in itself is based on a classic children's book, but Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day deserves a place on this list for the title alone (seriously: that title is terrible, horrible, no good, very bad - can you imagine parents trying to ask cinema workers for a ticket to this one?). Starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner as a lovely couple, the plot focuses on - yes - a bad day.

So the entire premise, really, surrounds a super awesome family whose luck changes for one day as they begin to experience a variety of calamities that threaten their peaceful existence. Going by the trailer, most of the film just involves things breaking, or getting smashed, or people slipping or falling over, which might prove satisfying enough for eight-year-olds, but probably won't keep anybody over the age of 12 invested in the storyline.
