20 Useless Things You Probably Never Knew About Star Wars
8. Yoda The Vampire Slayer?
Let's be honest, the little green Jedi Master could probably take a vampire down without batting an eyelid, but that's not quite what I'm getting at with this ridiculous bit of Star Wars trivia.
We all know that George Lucas wrote an original outline for Star Wars years before the films came to fruition and things were a lot different. In the original outline, Luke's surname was Starkiller and lightsabers were much more common - even Stormtroopers carried them (and probably missed like a kid swinging a baseball bat for the first time...).
Perhaps most bizarre of all, from the original treatment, Yoda was considered to be a wise, old guardian character who could've been between three and four thousand years old.
He was also called Buffy in the original draft. This was later changed to Minch Yoda and then, eventually, shortened to just Yoda.
