20 Vampires You Actually Want To Be Bitten By

10. Carmilla - The Vampire Lovers (1970)

During the '70s we saw a number of highly sexualized vampire films that took a few risks, featured a lot of nudity, and introduced us to some beautiful vampires. The Vampire Lovers is the second film in the Karnstein Trilogy, which is partly known for featuring lesbian vampires. Ingrid Pitt played Carmilla in the movie that wasn't exactly critically acclaimed, but Pitt's performance has endured over the years and helped the film become a cult classic.

9. Lestat de Lioncourt - Queen Of The Damned

While Tom Cruise's version of Lestat in Interview with the Vampire might be better known and certainly exudes his own charm and sexiness, Stuart Townsend's portrayal of the eternal vampire gains a bit of sex appeal by also being a rock star. Anne Rice's approval of Townsend's portrayal of Lestat is really the only thing she didn't hate about the movie during production, so he even managed to charm her.

8. The Countess - Once Bitten

Lauren Hutton stole the show from leading man Jim Carrey (playing Mark Kendall) as the beautiful Countess. Of course, to stay beautiful she had to feed three times on the blood of a virgin. Lucky for her, Mark was apparently the last virgin on the planet that she could seduce and feed off. Hilarity ensued and a mediocre film continued Carrey's rise to stardom, but Hutton's role as the sexy Countess scorched a place in our memories an earned her spot on this list..

7. Count Dracula - Dracula (1992)

Gary Oldman wowed audiences as the titular Count, but for the first half of the film he was a terrifying old man with monstrous attributes no one would confuse for sexy. Of course, after a bloody trip to England on the doomed ship Demeter restored the regal charm and youthful looks of the Count, he instantly began wooing the lovely Mina Harker (played by Winona Ryder). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zS45-L_h7I

6. Louis de Pointe du Lac - Interview With The Vampire

Clearly Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series of books, and the movies adapted from them, share the common theme of sexuality. However, there is one character that stands out among the crowd of beautiful people turned vampires in Anne Rice's cinematic offerings. Brad Pitt plays Louis, who the film follows from the moment he is turned to a vampire until the present day, and all the angst-filled triumphs and tragedies that comes with it.
