Both of these films are a part of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, which take more than a few departures from the source material. The character of Armand, played by Antonio Banderas in the film, is actually a centuries old Russian vampire in an adolescent's body in the book. However, with Banderas in the role, Armand led the Théâtre des Vampires in gothic and overly-sexualized vampiric performances that more than earn him a place on this list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FNS4QH25mo
14. La Vampire - Paris, Je T'aime
The vampire we've seen the least of is one that we couldn't keep off this list. Olga Kurylenko plays the nameless vampire in one of a number of stories from Paris, je t'aime, an anthology film that featured 22 directors tackling separate unconnected stories. In "Quartier de la Madeleine", Elijah Wood falls in love with the stunning vampire, and risks his own life to see if she feels the same. Kurylenko shines as La Vampire, and left us wanting more.
13. Damon Salvatore - Vampire Diaries
No offence to Paul Wesley, who plays vampiric brother Stefan, but Damon's bad guy personality and those baby blue's have enthralled countless viewers of the hit CW show. Ian Somerhalder also made People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive list in 2013, so it's not just his vampire persona that is winning over the ladies.
12. Dracula's Bride - Bram Stoker's Dracula
Monica Bellucci has been an international sex symbol for years, but who could ever forget her role as Dracula's Bride in Bram Stoker's Dracula? We would probably follow in Jonathan Harker's - played by Keanu Reeves - footsteps as he succumbed to Bellucci and her vampire sister's seductions. An eternity of slavery to Monica Bellucci? Yes please.
11. Spike - Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel
James Marsters played one of the best badass vampires on television, and while rough around the edges he was full of charisma and confidence, and even won over Buffy eventually, despite the many seasons of violence towards one another. Spike continued to channel Billy Idol on Angel, a spin-off that starred David Boreanaz, who almost made the list but couldn't quite beat out Spike.
