20 Worst DCEU Movie Moments (So Far)

5. The Penultimate Fight Scene - Man Of Steel

Man of Steel Dumb
Warner Bros.

You might not remember it now, but Man of Steel started out pretty well. The first half is a well-told and gently poignant origin story, but the second half is a massive disappointment thanks to the awful action sequences. These consist almost exclusively of over-powered characters punching each other through walls.

This one - in which Superman fights some of General Zod's (Michael Shannon) minions - is the exact moment when the film falls apart.

This tension-free and dull set-piece is OTT to the point of parody and since it's one of the most underwhelming set-pieces in any recent superhero movie and derails the entire film, it's definitely one of the worst DCEU scenes to date.
