20 Worst Films Of 2012

4. One For The Money

Katherine Heigl stars in this pathetically by-the numbers "comedy" that is more likely to send you into snores than laughter. Throughout, you're very aware that you are watching a film, with uncomfortable performances from all involved as they exchange in supposedly witty and sexy banter that just comes off as tedious. The jokes are bad, the characters are unlikeable and the plot is stick think, while Heigl seems miscast as Jersey girl Stephanie Plum, with her attempts at punkish attitude proving laughable in an uneven and inept chick flick.

3. What To Expect When You're Expecting

Based on the hugely successful and distinguished book of the same name, the film barely lives up to it's source material, proving an uncomfortable experience for most. Those with no experience of motherhood will be unable to relate, while those who have will hardly be impressed by this unfunny and disjointed rom-com that misfires on almost every level. It's schmaltzy and cheesy messages are made so obvious and blatant that nausea and cramps may actually begin to set in as the cast sleepwalk their way through a tired script with predictable jokes and plotlines, while many scenarios don't feel the slightest bit organic, and many scenes feel so cringingly false and forced.
