20 Worst Moments In Wizarding World Movies

2. The Maddening Anticlimax - Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter

Yes, yes, Dumbledore's death scene is great, but other than this is the worst ending of the Harry Potter films and it's not even close. This is, simply put, a head-bangingly awful anticlimax in every sense.

There isn't any sort of final action sequence, nothing feels tied up and this honestly feels like the end of a second act, not an ending to a full story. After the death of Dumbledore the film ends after a couple more scenes without anything resembling a resolution. As the film concluded, most audiences were probably thinking "Wait... that's it?!" Well, yep. That's it.

The weak comedy and complete messing up of the various relationships in the film had no doubt provided early hints, but this abysmal ending was probably the moment when it finally hit home: this movie was, despite its great visuals and strong performances, a crushing let-down and the worst Harry Potter film by several clear miles.
