20 Worst Moments In Wizarding World Movies

16. Ron And Lavender - Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is definitely the worst Harry Potter film overall and this thoroughly tiresome comedic subplot was one of the many issues in it. This romance between Ron and an annoying Gryffindor called Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave) was occasionally funny at first, but gradually becomes more and more irritating, especially on repeat viewings.

Additionally, it feels beyond-ludicrous that this jokey subplot got so much screentime while Harry and Ginny's (Bonnie Wright) romance was rushed and so many amazing scenes from the book, such as Dumbledore's memories and the battle on the Astronomy Tower, were left out entirely.

Since it also drains the momentum from an already slow-paced film, it should've either been reduced in screen-time or cut altogether.
