10. Men In Black International - Paris Battle

Captain Marvel Nick Fury Goose
Sony Pictures

It was a rough summer this year and Men in Black: International was one of its biggest duds. Despite the highly engaging pairing of Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth, International was just a highly tedious blockbuster that never produced more than a yawn.

After many dull set-pieces it finally concludes with a stunningly bland finale set on the Eiffel Tower that serves as a highly effective summary of all the film's problems: bad writing, ineffective comedy, no tension or drama, goofy special effects... it even throws in a dumb surprise villain twist involving High T (Liam Neeson), the head of the London Men in Black branch.

The only silver lining with this one is that the film's disappointing box office performance means a sequel probably won't be happening.
