20 Worst Movie Performances Of The Decade

9. Sam Worthington As Perseus - The Clash Of The Titans Films

A common problem in modern blockbusters is that they have incredibly boring, stone-faced and relentlessly dour leads that will send viewers to sleep. The epitome of this problem is Sam Worthington, most prominently in the two terrible Clash of the Titans films (which luckily never made it to installment number three).

Australian actor Sam Worthington is one of the luckiest actors alive, since he got two huge roles in 2009 (Avatar and Terminator Salvation) and has continued to appear in movies since. This is despite his consistently wooden acting and him failing to ever deliver a genuinely solid performance.

In both films, Worthington might've looked the part but he had an entirely blank face, no charisma whatsoever and delivered every line with the enthusiasm of a supermarket PA system. He's playing Perseus, who is a great character and one of Greek Mythology's best, yet he turns him into a complete and utter bore. Sacrilege!
