20 Worst Movie Performances Of The Decade

10. Chad Donella As Detective Matt Gibson In - Saw 3D

Canadian actor Chad Donella is definitely the most obscure actor on this list, although eagle-eyed horror movie fans might recognise him as Tod, the first victim in the early noughties horror classic Final Destination (Yes, it IS a classic). Still, he's made his mark on the decade by delivering one of its worst horror movie performances.

In Saw 3D, the awful 'final chapter' of the Saw franchise, Donella plays a painfully obnoxious detective who's chasing Jigsaw's final surviving apprentice. He's already an awful character who does nothing but speak to everyone he meets as if they were a dog-turd he's picked off his shoe, but thanks to Donella's performance he's elevated into a new level of awful.

Donella's ludicrously wooden and fantastically annoying performance makes every scene with this character in it painful to watch and in a franchise full of terrible performances, he's head and shoulders above the rest as the worst actor in the now eight film-long Saw series.

Gibson being taken out by an automatic machine gun in Jigsaw's lair is definitely one of the most satisfying moments of the series and since some pretty scummy characters get taken down during these films, that's saying something.
