6. All Those Actors You Used To Respect - Movie 43

What do Dennis Quaid, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Anna Farris, Chris Pratt, Emma Stone, Richard Gere, Katie Bosworth, Justin Long, Jason Sudekis, Uma Thurman, Kristen Bell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Grace Moretz, Gerard Butler, Johnny Knoxville, Sean William Scott, Halle Berry, Stephan Merchant and Elizabeth Banks all have in common?

Firstly, they're a group of highly successful and respected actors. Secondly, they were all humiliated in this ghastly 'comedy' that, for a while, destroyed pretty much any respect you had for them.

Movie 43 consists of 13 horrifically unfunny sketches and these A-listers are put through the wringer. To give some examples, Hugh Jackman plays a man with testicles hanging from his chin, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber play parents that incestuously abuse their home-schooled son, Chloe Grace Moretz is stuck in the middle of a vile periods joke, Elizabeth Banks fights a sexually aggressive cartoon cat... it's all even worse than it sounds.

The only actor to escape with his dignity intact is Terrence Howard, who is good in his short. All the others do career-worst work. Despite them being immensely talented, nearly all these actors are awful and give performances so painfully awkward and unfunny they look like they're acting with a gun to their head. Well... maybe they were.

These actors were all guilt-tripped and pressured into being in the film, none of them promoted it and only Sean William Scott and Chloe Grace Moretz even attended the premiere.
