20 Worst Movie Performances Of The Decade

4. Kevin James As Eric Lamonsoff - The Grown Ups Films

Kevin James GrownUps
Columbia Pictures

Someone needs to stop Kevin James. He can be likable but he's rarely been funny and throughout his whole career he's done nothing but coast by on jokes about fat people.

In this role as Eric in the execrable Grown Ups films, he once again delivers what is supposed to be a funny, light-hearted role with a nauseatingly smug demeanor and the charisma and charm of a bird-s**t covered brick wall. In fact, in the second film he gets out-acted by Taylor Lautner.

Out of the five Grown Ups (four in the second film), Eric is definitely the most annoying out of the four, especially when he's repeatedly urinating in public swimming areas and doing 'burpsnarts', where he burps, sneezes and farts in quick succession. Apparently this is supposed to be funny.

The character being so tiresome is partly thanks to the writing but it's mainly thanks to James, who gives the worst performance out of the leads. Throughout both films, Kevin James doesn't even seem to be trying to be funny and is just very indifferent and bland.

Sadly, Kevin James probably got paid a ton of money for this awful performance.
